TEJER
El tejido, el entrelazado y el entremezclado han estado, están y estarán siempre presentes en la historia del hombre. Han servido para su vida y desarrollo de la comunidad y sociedad. El hombre los ha aplicado a su existencia como un mecanismo para encontrar su esencia. Con ellos ha sido posible crear los mitos que más adelante constituyen las historias de diferentes culturas que componen la humanidad, enriquecidas con los misterios de la vida. Los tejidos también han enseñado los significados de las pasiones y el control de ellas. Han contado relatos, han protegido y embellecido tanto el cuerpo como la vivienda del hombre, han sido elemento solucionador de las necesidades tanto inmediatas como las más trascendentales del ser humano.
Al tejer se contempla la vida, la pacifica, la hace alegre y ritual y a la vez, entraña explicaciones como soluciones alternas de la existencia y de los misterios y mitos inexplicables que presenta.
La historia del tejido en el occidente es una historia recóndita, escondida e íntima propia de lo femenino. La historia de mi tejido es celebración de la vida, amor por la naturaleza y abrigo del alma.
TO WEAVE
The woolen textile, the interweaved and the intermingled have been, and will always be present in the history of mankind. They have been of great use for his life and the development of the community and society. Mankind has applied them in his existence as a mechanism to find their essence. Thanks to them it was possible to create myths that would later constitute the histories of different cultures which compose humanity. Each one enriched with all the different mysteries of life. The woolen textiles have also taught us the meanings of our desires and how to control them. They have told histories have protected and have beautified both the bodies and homes of mankind, they have acted as a healing element for either our immediate needs and the most transcendental ones of the human being.
When weaving, the life is contemplated; it gives us peace, making it more pleasant and somehow ritual and it simultaneously, contains explanations as alternate solutions of our existence and of the mysteries and inexplicable myths that it presents.
The history of the textile in the Occident it’s a completely hidden story, proper of the feminine side. The history of my woolen textile is a celebration of life, a demonstration of love for the nature and a caress to the soul.
